Elderberry Apple Punch

With the upcoming cold weather and busy holiday season meeting many people, we’d like to offer a delicious warm drink, that is very healthy as well as tasty. In Germany they call it a Punsch and drink it hot in the winter. Gesundheit – here’s to your health!

Elderberry Apple Punch

Yield: 4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2 cups elderberry juice
  • 1 cup unfiltered apple juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 capful vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Elderberry Apple Punch

Directions:

  1. Place the ingredients in a medium sauce pan and heat to warm. Do to boil!
  2. When the drink is warm, remove from the heat and pour into mugs.

Notes:

As alternatives, you could also use cranberry juice or even green tea.
