This is a superb Caesar salad dressing. Isa created it, and it’s published in her Veganomicon cook book. Heidi of 101 cookbooks made it last January, and it can be found elsewhere if you search on the net.
I had done a bit of research about an authentic Caesar salad. It uses full romaine leaves, tossed with the dressing, onion rings, croutons and often mushrooms, which is what we created. I made the dressing according to the directions, it tasted great, but needed a little something more, so I added a tablespoon of nutritional yeast and a generous teaspoon of grainy mustard. It was a perfect vegan “Caesar Salad”. I do hope you have or get the book and enjoy this great recipe.

Thanks for highlighting that VCon recipe. I’ll have to take a look at it. The salad is beautiful!
Actually, I think the caesar salad recipe is all thanks to Terry Hope Romero – just wanted to point that out because Isa gets all the credit but Terry is awesome, too!
