- Using the food processor, make the bread crumbs add the parsley and chop to a fine consistency.
- Add the bread crumbs and parsley to the nuts.
- Heat the oil in a small pan and sauté the red onion.

The miso is not necessary, but nice and also healthy. One can use salt, or if the nuts are salted, then not necessary at all.

I tried this, and maybe i used the wrong nuts, but I wasn’t incredibly crazy about the taste and the burgers tended to crumble in the frying pan.
Maybe less nuts and a little chick pea would’ve helped?

Oh Liz,
I’m sorry…I don’t know what happened…ours were great and stayed stuck together…ya, maybe less nuts and more chick peas..or chick pea flour. The tomato paste and bread crumbs really helped to keep mine together..I don’t know what happened to yours…perhaps try again and change the amounts…again, I’m sorry to hear about your problems…

I don’t have a way of measuring in “grams.” Is there a cup measurement for the nuts and bread crumbs?
